F-104 G Starfighter der
Bundesluftwaffe JaboG 31 Boelcke In Detail
|
In stock! | | The new Starfighter as flown at JaboG 31 Boelke. | | A specialty of the so called Norm 72 paint scheme was the blank aluminum lower side of the aircraft Only the top was in splinter camo.
| | Landingear is retractable as on all privious models too.
| | | View on internal machine canon and air to air misseles | | | | The wing tip fuel tanks with signal orange paint scheme.
| | | | | | | A classic of German airspace of the 70's and 80's, the green-grey camo scheme. | | Realy new besides the colours and markings is the ejection seat!
| | | | | The sign of JaboG 31 Boelke | | | | | | | The new Martin Baker ejection seat, with belts. | | Because the parachute pack is installed to the seat here, the new 48
Special Models pilot figure has to be installed without the included
parachute backpack! Eventually the pilots back needs some shaping to
the contour of the new seat too.

The
Starfighter got its name from the extrem hight it could reach. When it
was first tested it seemed to reach the stars (Space). The Lockheed
F-104 has become one of the most revelutionary designs and controvers
discussed aircraft of its time!
All bad reputation and nicknamed as a "widow maker" withstanding it was and still is used in many air forces even today.
21st Century Toys has released a lot of different paintschemes and the
versions C and G. All own is a extreme length of model of about 1m
and a wing span of 40cm! It has working landing gear, rubber tires,
working rudders and flaps and a opening canopy with a pilot figure.
Depending on the version a set of two AA-misseles on a sepearte pylon
is included, as well as the wingtip fuel tanks.

Modellers
who miss something on this highly detailed model are free to add more
detail on there own. What is great on these models is they are not
avaliable as kits in this scale at all and would be as expensive
whitout beeing built too.
So all models are made from plastic and be fixed with screws or
superglue, they can be easiely disassambled and converted or detailed
even more!
A
profi modeler will convert this model to a superior masterpiece easiely.
The soldier figures are of the same size like for example the commander
of the Tamiya King Tiger RC-Tank. Which means they are almost the same
scale. Eather 1/16 or 1/18 scale? How ever they can be shown side by
side with other models in 1/16 scale whitout sowing the difference to
much.
The enclosed soldier figures are of high quality in design and painting
and need not to be redone. Who dislikes the moveable armes and legs may
glue them in position and paste the seams with putty.
Most customers will like the model like it comes from the box and who
hasn't the skill or time to modify the model gets a great model for a
great price!
The new F-104 G Starfighter of German Bundesluftwaffe of JaboG31 Boelcke
is a Limited Edition model of 100 pieces in total and is of the same
kind like the older 21st Century Toys model, but in new Norm 72 paint
scheme of German Airforce. It also has some minor changes in details,
such as the canopy and the landinggear. These are of better quality and
detail now. As usaul on JSI made model the pilot figure is not included
anymore.
48
Special Models offers exclusively a F-104 pilot resin kit, fitting the
F-104starfghter cockpit. This should be added to your order too!
